Getting the PTFs loaded "remotely" can be done a couple of ways.  The most
straight forward is to use Management Central, if the systems are at 4.4
and later.  Lot's of good documentation on how to do this in the info
center and on the operations navigator/management central web pages.  The
disadvantage to this approach is the PTFs have to be copied to a system's
disk before mc can push to the remote system.

Another thought that came to mind was sharing your PC's CD drive to be
viewed by OS/400 via NFS.  I haven't tried this, and I think the "share"
doesn't look like an iSeries optical device, so you're left with figuring
out a way to get at the PTFs on the media.
