ftp after V5R1

All,

I have a new problem:  Intermittently, a PUT isn't successful and gets a 426
message.  But sometimes after doing other commands in the same session, such
as LS or DELETE, the same PUT is successful.

I never had this problem before, and now it is intermittent.  The user
profile has authority only to the one specific directory tree.
