It's not specifically for embedded SQL, but Graeme Birchall's "SQL
Cookbook" gives a good overview of SQL, along with lots of examples. One
thing I like about it is that it gives examples of things that _don't_
work and then explains why, along with examples of things that do.

It's free to download from his web site -- just search on "SQL Cookbook"
or "Graeme Birchall"
