Jay - It may be that the customer has an overlay which is merged with the *SCS stream to create an *AFPDS stream. I have seen a *SCS spool file changed to *USERASCII when using a RMTOUTQ (as opposed to a *LAN printer). Is that a possibility? HTH, Steve
