Loyd,

You might look into the Scalable Vector Graphic package available from

the Apache Software Foundation. The project is Batik. I have only used
it
to produce simple graphics that became generated PDF files using
Cocoon and FOP. For what I used it for it worked just fine on the
iSeries.

Go to http://xml.apache.org/batik/ for more information.

I would like to programmatically (dynamically) generate GIF or PNG
images
based on AS/400 data. For example, I would like to create a line or
bar
graph similar to the stock graphs on yahoo:
<http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=bwa&d=c&t=1y>. I am basically looking to
generate trend graphs based on user input on web forms. (Graph a
product
line's productivity for the past year.) Any advice welcomed. Feel free
to
respond to either list, I monitor both.

Thanks,
Loyd
