We are considering the incorporation of this parameter into our nightly backup routine because there are occasions when some of our files are receiving updates during the execution of the backup program. Question...EXCLUDING committment control issues which were just previously discussed in another thread, are there any NEGATIVE ramifications to using the SWA parameter? Abnormal termination of save command? Effects on the file being saved when open and updating? Anything else that may dissuade me from going in this direction. Thanks much.
