If the 400 is UP & running, the problem MIGHT be in some MSGQ, that your security MIGHT let you access via some kind of dial in. If the 400 is DOWN because it is HUNG on the 400 error message ... consider having a digital camera pointed at the front panel with the other end on a web site like the porno people do. You might also ask the pager/400 software folks what they are able to issue ... it would be nice if the error message code showed up on the hand held device across town. If you only care about something that went haywire in the past, perhaps DSPLOG over the time period of the problem has some clues, or WRKPRB. If there are people in the building but not allowed access to the server room, then perhaps you can have like a periscope they can look through to give you info on #s off of panels. > Gang - > > Is there a way to 'see' the SRC code displayed on the front panel of the > system without physically being 'at' the system? > > I have a test box at a location across town and would like to 'see' the SRC > code without driving over there. > > Thanks, > > Steve MacWheel99@aol.com (Alister Wm Macintyre) (Al Mac) BPCS 405 CD Manager / Programmer @ Global Wire Technologies Incorporated http://www.globalwiretechnologies.com = new name same quality wire engineering company: fax # 812-424-6838
