Al Mac,
Is it possible that the user profile that you signed on as had SSA as it's
group profile? If so you would not see the *ADOPT, because you are part of
that group. However if none of the programs in your call stack have the
following options
User profile . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *OWNER
Use adopted authority . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *YES
Then you won't have that issue.
More stats on our SSAZ99, although I wish the restore didn't affect the
change data - kind of makes the following information useless.
Creation information:
Creation date/time . . . . . . . . : 04/12/04 10:12:39

Please respond to

We also on BPCS & have a lot less divisions than Rob & we have them all in
one environment, using facilities. I checked our SSAZ99 & it does not have
any *ADOPT stuff.
Object
User Group Authority
SSA *ALL
*PUBLIC *EXCLUDE
Then my next thought was ... Rob's company had SSAZ99 messed up ... what is
the likelihood we have something ELSE messed up this way ... and how could
you tell?
WRKOBJ *ALL objects of OBJTYPE(*AUTL) identifies all objects that are
controlled by an authority list & we have a bunch ... some IBM objects
whose
function I not yet know, *TEST, Conversion, and main source code.
