Hi Carl, The 'advanced scheduler ' let's one do quite a few things: a.) Schedule daily recurring jobs, starting at a specific time (e.g. 06h00) and ending at a specific time (e.g. 17h00). b.) Specify the intervals at which these jobs shoyuld run, e.g. every 'n' minutes or hours. c.) Create job streams with dependency checking, i.e. job 2 cannot continue unless job1 has a succesful completion message. d.) IIRC, branching depending on completion message. e.) Inclusion of messages and or actions, depending on completion status (abend, etc.) There are a few more. It is quite a worthwhile product!! Cheers. Jan Megannon.
