Check out the manual "TCP/IP for AS/400: More Cool Things Than Ever" Chapter 18. This is how we created our DDM files. We had to use RMTFILE(*NONSTD 'LIBRARY/FILENAME(MEMBER)') CRTDDMF FILE(TESTLIB/NEWDDM) RMTFILE(*NONSTD 'LIBRARY/FILENAME(*FIRST)') RMTLOCNAME('255.255.255.1' *IP) >>> rob@dekko.com 01/11/02 09:41AM >>> Our standard comm line is an Ethernet line. What is your definition of a standard comm line? Also we are creating our DDM files with CRTDDMF FILE(MYLIB/MYFILE) RMTFILE(THEIRLIB/THEIRFILE) RMTLOCNAME(them *IP) See, we are using *IP and not the default of *SNA. What physical connection do you have between the two machines ? rob@dekko.com wrote: > > When DDM over TCPIP from one machine to another. > > Rob Berendt _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
