That's about how they are shipped.  Add a pallet and banding material to
hold it on a pallet and you have the basic packing for shipment.  When a CE
comes to pack up a system going back at end of lease, they do not even use
bubble wrap, they use a 24 " wide roll of plastic wrap!  There is not much
to it.
