Can't remember if it did or not. Of course when we upgraded we abandoned SNA in favor of IP so we were re-configuring a lot of stuff anyways. I do know that it can use saved terminal configuration files from CA, but someone more knowledgable would have to tell you how to preserve all of you system connections during the upgrade. (The first thing CAE does is force you to uninstall CA if it is present, so I'd imagine plenty of stuff gets wiped out.)
