Thanks, I had never investigated the SET OPTION sql function. This should certainly take care of the compiler settings for DON. One note to Don, when I tried this the first time, I placed the "SET OPTION" statements directly after my "H" specification. The precompiler did not like this. I moved them to be the first "C" specs and everything work fine. You can either do it in the compile command, or you can code a SET OPTION (SQL command). I usually do that along with the H spec in RPG so I don't have to worry about compiler settings.
