Walden, I didn't know what RCLLIB was until Fall COMMON. I knew it was a documented restriction that you couldn't do a RCLLIB during save-while-active, and I've been commenting on this for years in my SWA pitch, also noting "What the hell is RCLLIB?" Well in Minneapolis there were many IBM developers there who were bussed up for the day, and the developer who does RCLLIB was in my session, and sent me a note to this effect. I suspect that a RCLLIB for each library will miss a lot. RCLSTG will just about fix whatever is wrong. A user profile that owns an inaccurate number of objects, a PF in one library with related LFs in different libraries, etc. Al Al Barsa, Jr. Barsa Consulting Group, LLC 400>390 914-251-1234 914-251-9406 fax http://www.barsaconsulting.com http://www.taatool.com "Walden H. Interesting, and yet RCLLIB doesn't require a dedicated machine. If I looped through all the libraries doing a RCLLIB what would I have missed? Objects not in a library? -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President Tech Software (516)627-3800 x11 WaldenL@TechSoftInc.com http://www.TechSoftInc.com -----Original Message----- From: email@example.com [mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org] Sent: Thursday, January 03, 2002 13:23 To: email@example.com Subject: Re: Does RCLSTG also do a RCLLIB and RCLDLO <snip> _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-Lfirstname.lastname@example.org Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
