WHat does Reason Code 1 mean ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Additional Message Information Message ID . . . . . . : CPI432C Date sent . . . . . . : 01/03/02 Time sent . . . . . . : 08:48:11 Message . . . . : All access paths were considered for file DCLFROL18. Cause . . . . . : The OS/400 Query optimizer considered all access paths built over member DCLFROL18 of file DCLFROL18 in library TILIPD. The list below shows the access paths considered. If file DCLFROL18 in library TILIPD is a logical file then the access paths specified are actually built over member DCPFROL of physical file DCPFROL in library TILIPD. Following each access path name in the list is a reason code which explains why the access path was not used. A reason code of 0 indicates that the access path was used to implement the query. TILIPD/DCLFROL18 1, TILIPD/DCPFROL 0, The reason codes and their meanings follow: 1 - Access path was not in a valid state. The system invalidated the access path. ---------------------- This logical is over a PF with 17 Million records. The SQL statement did a SELECT * FROM DCLFROL18 WHERE Kfld1 = 'ABC' And Kfld2 = 12345 So I was selecting using the same keyfields as the LF and it used the PF sequencially. What does "The system invalidated the access path." mean?
