I tried to transfer a file from a PC to the AS/400 V4R4 C1072440
with Client Access V5R1 SP SI10907. When I complete all the questions
and get to the point that CA is ready to transfer the file I get an error
saying:
CWBDB0036 - Server returned SQL error
SQL0104 - Token ) was not valid. Valid tokens: CHAR LONG BINARY
DOUBLE GRAPHIC CHARACTER <IDENTIFIER>.
d word, or it could be related to the order of clauses. -- If the error token is
<END-OF-STATEMENT>, correct the SQL statement because it does not
end with a valid clause.

Does anyone know what this error is trying to tell me? It looks to me like the
problem is with a ")". The only place I put one in is where I specified where
to
put the file. The format I used is Library/file(member). The file I specified
does not exist on the 400. CA documentation says if it doesn't exist it will
create the file. The file name and the member name I specified are the same.
What I actually used is kdiecs/carona(carona). I turned on History, detail
trace and entry point trace. There were no entries logged. Any ideas as to
why I received the error are certainly welcome.

TIA,

Gary Kuznitz
