Through a quick review of System Handbooks and Performance Capabilities, I
have come up with the following chip information:

Northstar      200MHz - 262 MHz
Pulsar         400 MHz - 450 MHz
Condor         400 MHz - 540 MHz
I-Star         500 MHz - 540 MHz
S-Star         540 MHz - 600 MHz
Regatta   > 1 GHz

I may (probably) have left out a chip or two and, unfortunately, I don't
know of a foolproof way to determine what chip may (or may not) be in your
machine.  (Of course, for several reasons pointed out previously by others,
it is a waste of time to compare speeds of PC chips vs. iSeries chips but
I'm sure there are those who will try!)
