And doing an <F1> down on the bottom where it's telling you the "error occurred with the option". You have to move your cursor down to that line and do an <F1> What does that tell you ? I don't think the job is ever getting started, based on the error message "Error occurred with the option" and getting booted back to the SAVE screen. -----Original Message----- From: Norbut, Jim [mailto:Jim.Norbut@Grubb-Ellis.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 12:38 PM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: Probably very easy, Newbie question When you do a WRKJOB and then do option '10' You need to do <F10> to display all detailed messages Followed by a <F18> which is shift-F6 on a pc. This will take you to the bottom of your joblog...and maybe there will be something there to help out. Now have I confused you enough :) Jim Norbut Systems Administrator Grubb & Ellis Company Phone (847) 753-7620 Fax (847) 753-9854 -----Original Message----- From: Jill Grine [mailto:JillG@gtsoftware.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 11:28 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: Probably very easy, Newbie question Here's the sequence I followed: GO SAVE 21 Screen ENDSBS End Subsystem, just hit ENTER Immediate failure with message "Error occured with the option", and "21" displayed on the command line WRKJOB 10 Screen shows only 3>>WRKJOB and the "bottom" indicator at the bottom of the screen. -----Original Message----- From: Norbut, Jim [mailto:Jim.Norbut@Grubb-Ellis.com] Sent: Thursday, December 20, 2001 12:13 PM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: Probably very easy, Newbie question It sounds like you are using Operations Console if the main console is attached to a PC. If that's the case.....you should be able to do the go backup option 21 signed on as QSECOFR w/ no problem. Did you find out any more details on that joblog that we can go by ?
