Normal LPT1-connected printers work just fine. Changing the printer files would be a nightmare of confusion. We have to find a way to make local printers and network printers behave in the same manner. -------------------------------------------- Booth Martin MartinB@Goddard.edu 802-454-8315 x235 -------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: midrange-l@midrange.com Date: Wednesday, December 19, 2001 02:45:32 PM To: 'midrange-l@midrange.com' Subject: RE: HP-4 laserjet printer with an IP network card, will not conde nse print Use an OVRPRTF on the spoolfile to change the font size or paper size or whatever. That should help out....that's what I do. The actual printer is a HP Laserjet 4M with a network card and IP address (no local PC connection). We can not get the print to be condensed, nor does COR work, on letter-size paper. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -------------------------------------------- Booth Martin MartinB@Goddard.edu 802-454-8315 x235 -------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ -- [ Content of type unknown/unknown deleted ] -- _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
