Assuming DDS is being used, this is NOT the case. The default is to pack
the field, you need to specify S to define it as a zoned decimal.

I have a file with the following fields...

  40    A  Company Name
  40    A  Address
  40    A  Address
  40    A  Address
  40    A  City/County
  20    A  Country
  10    A  Post Code
  13  0 P  Employer ID
  13  0 P  Address ID

It's the 2 fields at the bottom which are the problem - what's the best
way of not having them 'packed'?
