Hi Steven,
I asked one of our engineers; he said that it sounds like a 5494
config problem; I assume you have rebooted the 5494 to reload the config?
Is the config diskette still ok ? If not, he says that it could be a memory
failure in the 5494 or a bandwidth problem on the comms line.

        I hope this helps.

P.S. MC&AHNY

I have a remote site connected to our AS/400 by a 5494.
Last week, 2 of the screens 'disappeared'. They are connected to the
controller, we have a block in the bottom left of the screen, and the
cursor is top left, but our AS/400 won't send them a sign on screen. I
have tried re-addressing them, to see if Autoconfig would bring the
screens back, but to no avail.
Any suggestions before I consider sacrificing a black cockerel and
immersing the controller in Holy Water???
