Andy(s;) I would agree with all the responses made. My understanding from my BP is that the used-170 (while probably the cheapest route) is in a similar situation as the 400. Starting first of the year IBM is withdrawing upgrade paths for the model. I'm not sure if that also means it won't run 5.2, or not, though. I was going to write a flame on IBM's pricing, because your clients being able to run a B20, up until recently, and there continuing on with the platform.. Well.. it's proof-positive that the bottom-line depends more on satisyfing customers, rather than churning hardware sales. It wasn't really going to be a flame though, as I think there is an extremely simple pricing strategy that provides the best of both worlds, as the server market continues to become a commodity market, according to the CW...
