Tom, ==>Finally, when the servers do the swap for current user, the server joblog ought to show a "Servicing user profile..." message (as Kurt showed in his sample). Does such a message appear that indicates a swap to QUSER? If it does, I'd start thinking that QUSER was indeed sent in on the request. If it doesn't, then maybe IBM should answer a question or two. <== Well, no, but... It's not clear that te QZDASOINIT job would swap from QUSER to QUSER, if the request came in that was... When QZDASOINIT reports that it is "Servicing User Profile xxxx" that message does not appear to be issued for each separate ODBC request.... leading me to believe that the system keeps track of current user and only adjusts when necessary... However, that's easy enough to test... jte -- John Earl johnearl@powertechgroup.com The Powertech Group www.powertechgroup.com Kent, Washington, USA +1 253-872-7788
