1) Try going into Dedicated Service Tools. 2) Work with DST Environment 3) System Devices 4) Console Mode 5) Select 'Local Console' You will need DST security officer profile/password for this operation. As a side note, I found to my great relief that if you disconnect your PC console and IPL in manual mode, the system will assign a twinax device Port 0 Address 0 as console, even though the system is configured for the PC Console. I don't know if this is consistent across all models, but it saved me many days of downtime when I was unable to get the PC software to work and needed to get an AS/400 into production.
