Sorry, typing mistake. And I don't even know where it came from because we
upgraded from v4r4...
I have never tried ftp between AS400's ( or is that ISeries?) I might give
it a try.
but I still need find out why it does not work correctly...

Man...someone on this list has V5R4 already.
How do I get on that list to get stuff even before it's made <grin>

Actually....I NEVER use sndnetf...I always use FTP to transfer *SAVF
between
systems.
And never had a problem before.....its much easier (for me anyway)

Is that an option ?

Subject: sndnetf Failing

When I try to send files from my production box to my development machine I
get some strange results...

The sndnetf appears to work fine and places the files in the snads queue
but when distribution occurs I get the following message

"File SCARTER member *N number 0 from user SCARTER S1024666 not filed."

What does this mean?

It also does not seem to have this problem on smaller files..

What I have done is save PF objects into a savf and sent the SAVF and this
is when I have the problem...

Also, this did not happen until recently the "only thing" ;) that has
changed is an upgrade to v5r1 from v5r4...
