It's the "using Citrix" that worries me a little. Can you not go
directly to the 400? If your bottleneck is anywhere then it's on the
Citrix. We use 64K lines with no response time issues.

I use mochasoft on a dial up from home with no issues. (40K tops)

Subject: Telnet Response Problems.

I'm currently running Mochasoft TN5250 emulator over a wide area network
using citrix. Ocassionally we experience response problems from our
clients.
The user experiences a lock on their session and this can last for
minutes.
The problem is that the AS/400 is not showing any symptons of having a
problem. Lan utilisation, disk utilisation, interactive card are running
fine. Normal office applications seem to function as normal for the
client.
I just wondering could telnet be the culprit.

WAN software shows that the lines are working fine.

Thanks in advance.
