Create a DFU program over that file and on the SUPPRESS ERRORS parameter, say YES. When you run the DFU program, in theory, that will allow you to delete the record. Regards, Peter Vidal "Joel R. Cochran" <jrc@masi-brac.com> To: "'midrange-l@midrange.com'" Sent by: <midrange-l@midrange.com> midrange-l-admin@mi cc: drange.com Subject: Delete a bad record 11/28/01 01:57 PM Please respond to midrange-l I have a record in a file that contains invalid data. I would simply like to delete this record, so I counted on good old DFU to carry the day... but it won't allow me to specify the record, (since it can't display it), so I can't even hit F23! Does anyone know how to get rid of this errant record? Joel R.
