Re: backup causing 30000 locks??

Check the archives ... I know this topic has come up before.
Check if the client is doing save while active or is shutting down stuff
prior to backup.

For example if you got security monitoring going on, or performance analysis,
or something else that needs to access a lot of files, it really is smart to
shut that down before backup & restart it after backup, if you are not going
to shut down a whole lot more.
