You have the time it happened. DSPLOG for right around that time will help point you at what address was trying to connect & perhaps even an error message # associated with a password failure. I have QSYSMSG setup & it captures some info on this. If you get what error message it is, you could then DSPLOG search for hits on that message # ... check the archives, someone might have given it some time. Some users do have problems with PC going down or other flakiness. Some users have programmed their PC keyboard or macros to auto sign on for them, which means when their PC goes flaky, their sign on ditto. I did find a pattern as to TIME of failures correlating with when people in certain offices were at lunch & found that some OTHER people were doing guessing games with passwords. I informed the normal occupants of the offices. This is another reason why I am glad so many of our people have weird sign-on names that I have encouraged they adopt like HEYLADY & THEGURU & WIZARD & PRODIGY because half the time the people doing the guessing games are using the REAL names of the people who occupy those offices.
