Leif, Doesn't this sort of thing require some base config info, or does any attached DASD, cards, etc in a piece of junk just equal more junk...? ;-) I may be able to ask my BP (may as well get a plug in for SOME of the folks at 3X I've "met", like Brad Spitzer, Bill Eckels and Bryan Dietz) to run down some numbers on some other models, while he's doing it on the 3 I mentioned... jt "Have a GREAT day...!
