Part 1. So given a CISC has no value... a) What is the lowest model RISC that HAS any market value...? b) At what point, exactly, did OS/400 come bundled with the hardware? c) I thought, currently, compilers WERE transferrable and sellable, as of V4Rx. No? I have an option on an F70, a 200, and a 400. Probably get them for shipping costs, if I can get them out before the EOM. I'm pretty sure the 400 is RISC, right...? So I was wondering if any of these have any potential value for the licensed code on them, if nothing else... Part 2. Do any of these have any value to a school trying to set up a PIE program...? jt "Have a GREAT day...! And a BETTER ONE TOMORROW~~~:-)" (sm) > -----Original Message----- > From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com > [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Leif Svalgaard > Sent: Thursday, November 15, 2001 5:55 PM > To: midrange-l@midrange.com > Subject: Re: Market value of an S30 > > > they are both RISC machines. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Norbut, Jim <Jim.Norbut@Grubb-Ellis.com> > To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> > Sent: Thursday, November 15, 2001 4:52 PM > Subject: RE: Market value of an S30 > > > > I have a 9406-2258 S30 and its not a CICS ?? > > Is that not the same thing he was asking about. > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Carl Galgano [mailto:cgalgano2@ediconsulting.com] > > Sent: Thursday, November 15, 2001 4:53 PM > > To: midrange-l@midrange.com > > Subject: RE: Market value of an S30 > > > > Bryan: > > the S30 is a CISC machine.
