The ptf's that solved our problem was the latest V4R5 cumptf (SF99450) as
of july 2001 and the BRMS group ptf SF99077 ( recommended by IBM, we do not
use BRMS ) That on the AS/400 side.
On the 3581 the driver firmware should be 16e0 or later. It took some time
to get the drive microcode as our
CE had to order it from UK/US on a tape as opposite from the Unix/NT
environments were you can download the
firmware from internet.
