Hi Gary! In this day and age, it's becoming clear that the device name is less reliable an indicator of who can get on our machines than the user profile. In that spirit, consider: Since the original problem seemed to be that QMAXSGNACN varied off the device (1) (thereby allowing the device deletion/recreation to vary it on again), why not change QMAXSGNACN to disable the user profile (2)? I may have missed the reason, as I'm in digest mode and it's increasingly difficult to follow messages, what with 40kb of quotes tacked onto every message. Oops. Wrong rant. And now back to our regularly schedules M$ bashing... <sardonic grin> --buck
