Why recommend remote outq? IMO, you give up too many basic spl controls,
like page range. I would assume the lan attach feature to be standard
JetDirect, which works quite nicely with IP printer devices.

Use the remote outq method of printing. It's kind of a long story, but I
think
there is a document on tnt400 that spells it all out.

Subject: HP Laserjet 8150 lan attach devd

Hi everybody,

I just received an HP laserjet 8150 printer and have been asked to hook
it up. It has a lan attachment. I have an ethernet card in my 400. I have
no idea what type of device description etc. to create. Can somebody give
me a few nudges?

Thanks
