Not so. Joe makes excellant points. I agree this his perspective on the
value of the iSeries, the direction of programming, and that SQL is overall
a performance hit. I more readily embrace SQL, perhaps, but not because I
think it is faster than my native DB access was.

But I don't jump in on Joe's discussion here because, like most guys with
Joe's point of view, I've spent far too much time arguing with guys who
think the green screen is only fading because of IBM's failure to market it.
