Hi Bill, I do this with KeyesMail. They offer a bunch of APIs to create and send e-mail. I like it and their support is good. http://www.ckeyes.com/ Regards Rick -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Bill Erhardt Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2001 3:53 PM To: 'Mid Range list - Questions' Subject: E-mail spool files from AS/400 This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I know that I can use Operations Navigator to copy a spool file from the 400 to my desk top and then attach it to an e-mail, and I know that I can e-mail a message directly from the 400, but how can I e-mail a spool file directly from a 400 application. What I would like to do is Open the spool file write the info close the file send e-mail open the file etc. Any ideas? -- _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
