I sent this email on 10/29/2001. However I cannot find it in the archive. Subject: Re: What a fun week Body: ... pmr 42954,500 - "Viewer chops off items, also scan fails." - Op's Nav. Response: When viewing the spooled file, try clicking on View and then Paper size, and select a paper size that is large enough for the output you are viewing. For a normal joblog, you would probably want to pick either 14X11 or 13.5X11 to see the whole page. My counter response: I suppose I should submit a design change request to get Op's Nav to pick a default paper size based on the print file attributes. ... Does this help? And I did submit that design change request. Rob Berendt ================== "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I have a spool generated by an application that is 198 characters wide. It can be printed easily to a LAN attached laser printer, but I have a user who wants to print this to a locally attached inkjet. We have Client Access with AFP viewer (in fact this is used for most of our printing rather than LAN attached printers to the AS/400). With the particular spool file in question, the AFP viewer only seems able to print 132 characters wide. If I reduce the zoom to like 40% I can see the whole 198 characters, but there's a redline around the area that will print (132). I've tried all the settings I can find, but I can't get AFP viewer to print the whole page, even when I can see the whole page on the screen. Is there something simple I'm missing?
