It took me roughly a two days to get the overlay to work for me, that is not a finished overlay either, just to get it to work. I am not real familiar with everything yet, since I have only been in the business for almost 1.5 years. As far as designing it, I am guessing it will take me another day or so to get it done. And that is mostly to my perfectionist nature. -----Original Message----- From: KirkG@PacInfoSys.com [mailto:KirkG@PacInfoSys.com] Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2001 6:40 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Using PSF and IBM's Printing value pack (PPK) Let's assume you are already printing checks, W2s etc on an impact printer on preprinted checks and forms. Now you decide to convert to laser printing on blank paper stock. Any guesstimates on how many hours per form to design and implement? How about the first form vs the last (ie learning curve)? --------------------------------- Kirk Goins IBM Certified AS/400 Technical Solutions Pacific Information Systems - An IBM Premier Business Partner 503-674-2985 kirkg@pacinfosys.com "WE KNOW TECHNOLOGY" --------------------------------- _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
