Mandy, No, STRSQL doesn't utilize the native database exit points. STRSQL is not seen as a client that requires "serving", but as a local application accessing the database. -- Gary Monnier garymon@powertechgroup.com The PowerTech Group 19426 68th Avenue South Kent, WA 98032 Phone 253.872.7788 Fax 253.872.7904 PowerLock Network Security www.powertechgroup.com -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com]On Behalf Of mandy.shaw@Notability.com Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2001 1:50 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re STRSQL auditing Thanks Bill and Rob. The customer is journalling the files already & knows he could get accountability that way, but he would really prefer to know what the SQL commands issued were. Is anyone able to confirm whether the exit points Rob suggests would be picked up by STRSQL (since this doesn't use the database server I am a bit doubtful, to be honest).
