All things being equal, yes. But what if I have 10 users. I decide to start using Websphere, which requires more box. I still have 10 users, but I bought a bigger box for more performance because of requirements of the software. So, I guess the answer is yes and no. In this case, why should I pay more for a piece of software because I want (or should I say need in this case) better performance? And if the software is quality, it doesn't mean MORE bugs will be found by more users, it means the same bug will be found more often. As someone who creates software, I look forward to getting bug reports. More users doesn't, err... shouldn't mean more support if it's tested, and does what it claims to do. I sell software, and I don't charged on a tierred basis. I don't even charge anywhere NEAR what my competitors do. But, I still have a lot of customers. And a lot of them use my software and that of my competitors'.
