Hi Tim,

The DDS ALIAS keyword was originally for COBOL programs, which is why it's
limited to 30 characters.  Also, the first character must be A-Z, subsequent
letters must be A-Z, 0-9 or underscore.

And as Rob's example shows, RPG still doesn't pay any attention to it.
