Qconsole is "normally" the terminal with an address of Port 0 address 0 If you aren't there, you will not get a "console", and normally a "console" is ONLY used in a "service mode" with no subsystems running. In other words, you must come up in manual mode at that device to be on the "console".... You don't have to vary on the device, since that is the default in "service" mode.
