Has anyone had success in loading the data transfer add-in to Excel
XP(2002).

Basic history: After upgrading from Office 97 to Office XP, the Excel
data-transfer add-in is no longer a menu option and can't be successfully
installed. I can run through the steps to install the add-in but once the
install is completed the only way to exit Excel is to end the application
through the task manager, and of course the Excel transfer function doesn't
work. Interestingly the rest of Excel seems to work fine; I just can't exit
it or run the transfer function. Upon restarting Excel the add-in is gone
and Excel works correctly.

I've tried it with CA 4.5 with the latest SP and 5.1 with and with out the
latest SP, Win 2000 with and without SP2, and Office with and without the
latest SP's. Needless to say I've spent a chunk of this afternoon waiting
on upgrades. The stand alone CA data transfer works fine. We are at OS/400
4.5 although that probably doesn't matter.

It appears to be a problem in loading the add-in because Excel misbehaves
without even trying to do a data transfer.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
