Ken, One option you should think about is a PCL forms overlay package to do what you want. Both FormationMG (www.formationmg.com ) and ACom (www.acom.com ) have very good packages. These would allow you to do what you are looking for. And some really slick stuff in the process. (Conditional overlays, data manipulation, images, etc). Another benefit is most of the Fax Vendors support the PCL output from these packages. I don't know about Fax Star. I know Cornerstone's does (www.cstoneindy.com ), and I am pretty sure Quadrants does also. Of course, since I am the Primary Architect of Unifier, Cornerstone Communications product, I think that ours is the best out there. Contact me privately (use bob@cstoneindy.com , not the bob2 address) if you want more information. I know you can get a trial version of the Formation product. I suspect you can get one of Acom's product. And I know for a fact you can get Unifier on trial. Can't speak for Quadrant or Fax Star. All of the above products to my knowledge run under OS/400 only. But getting spool files from the SSP side to the OS/400 side is very easy. I've never used it, and I was wondering if anyone on the list has. One of our branches, runs a AS/36 /436 box, and would like to print their invoices on stock tab. That's half the equation. The invoices will have to be faxed out every night, max about 500, and apart from an older Faxstar* solution I used years ago, I'm not certain which is the best way to go Any suggestions here will be gratly appreciated. -- Best Regards Ken Shields _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
