Has anyone else gotten the WebSphere vs. BEA seminar invitation from IBM?
Mine came from Partner World for Developers.

Anyway, the e-mail claims they'll tell us that WS can cost 1/2 what WebLogic
costs, perform twice as fast, be more productive, etc. They say their team
"has the facts you need to Crush BEA" and we'll be armed "with necessary
information to smash the competition." Only one catch, we need to sign a NDA
to get this information. How the hell are we supposed to "crush the
competition" when we can't disclose this great information? I can see the
conversation now:

Customer: "I'm going w/BEA"
Partner: "No, you really need to use WebSphere, it's soooo much better"
Customer: "Really, that's not what BEA says"
Partner: "Well, we have the numbers to prove WS is better."
Customer: "Great. With those I can convince my management. What are they?"
Partner: "I'm sorry, I can't tell you... Well, I could, but then I'd have to
kill you!" <G>
