Thanks for your message, Simon. Great to "talk to" you. I guess I didn't make it clear that I was using NetManage's View Now software to do the transfer. At this installation, much to my chagrin, FTP is not an option. Grrr. :~| Anyway, I found that if I let NetManage create the file rather than creating it beforehand via CRTPF, the transfer works correctly. Don't you just love reliable software?
