well, you can always run it, but.... if you install and put PTFs on at the
time or otherwise follow the directions for the install.. there will be a
message on qsysopr that says the INZSYS command has completed.

the install instructions tell you to look for it or run it.

so, no, under normal circumstances, you would not have to run this now.

I did encounter an issue like this on V4R2, so don't know if it will help.

We ended pop, smtp, msf and snads. Then set the chgsysdira alwsrc(*no). Then
IPL. Then end pop, smtp, msf and snads. Then set the chgsysdira alwsrc(*yes)
and then start pop, snads, msf and smtp. If I remember, this forced the
deletion and then recreation of the system search directory.
