We have several 400s in our computer room, but we still have a white CISC E04 that we purchased in 1991 (I think). That would make it 10 years old. We have had exactly 4 hours of unscheduled downtime in 10 years. We do not use it for much any more, but I am determined to see how long it will run. Next time (if ever), it crashes, it goes to the parts bin. Not many machines can make a claim like this. cjg Carl J. The reliability ratings for machines can't take into account how often the users might take the system down! How in the world could the manufacturer control that? > -Walden -- Chris Rehm javadisciple@earthlink.net And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart... ...Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
