            When Lansa did the Lab Registration project for Common Baltimore
the only interface was an 802.11B TCP Wireless unit.  All the code and
formatting ran on the AS/400 720 V4R4 at Common HQ, and was connected to the
site via a VPN tunnel.   For more mobility than the 802.11B offers you would
need to pick a vendor with IP over the air.

            I can refer you to someone at Lansa if you want who worked on
the Common project and can explain in more detail what the code look like on
either end.
