IF what you ae trying to do is create a PC5250 printer emulation session
over a TCP/IP connection it sounds like you may be missing some PTF's.

Hello All,

                 Just a question. Is there a problem with automatically
creating
printer devices on a system with V3R7. The display works fine I see the
name
being assigned qpadevxxxx but nothing being assigned to the printer it is
not allowing it to be created. I checked on the AS/400 and see nothing.
Does
the AS/400 support this? Also I have qautocfg set to on. Any ideas.
